We are proud to employ two ISA Certified Arborists, Andy Asmus and Kirk Huffey. Both men are smart, fit, and prioritize SAFETY. Home Orchard and Tree Care provides fair compensation, regular training and flexible work hours. The business is fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
Tree work creates debris. Small limbs and branches are chipped either on site or back home. Chips are left on site if desired by the client or are used as compost material and bedding at our farm, Welcome Table Farm. When sizable trees need to be removed, trunks are hauled back home and later milled into lumber. Wood that can’t be chipped or milled is cut and split into firewood. All products are available for sale.
Ensuring the long-term health and vigor of trees is our top priority since the healthiest trees are the safest trees. We offer maintenance pruning, recommendations for nutrient and water management, and bracing or cabling as needed for trees of all sizes. Home Orchard and Tree Care is a City of Walla Walla approved Tree Care Specialist.
You can expect timely correspondence, free initial consult and estimate, in-season completion of the work, a polite, pleasant and safe work site, and reasonable prices.
Working with the appropriate tools for the job is important. We favor use of handsaws over chain saws, and rope and rigging techniques over bucket trucks. Investment in labor instead of expensive machinery means lower overhead for the business and lower costs for the clients.
